You simply add it directly into water-based sealers, such as Barrier urethane sealer or Versatec nano-quartz sealer. This method creates a smooth, even color throughout the entire floor. In contrast, Color Mist stain produces a mottled, natural-looking pattern with beautiful variations. Therefore, choose Color Prime Tint when you want uniform results every time.
Since Color Prime Tint is a brand-new product, we currently offer only a limited range of colors. However, we plan to release a complete color selection sometime in 2026. Meanwhile, you can enjoy great flexibility right now. For example, mix different colors together easily. This simple step lets you lighten shades, darken tones, or create custom hues to match your vision perfectly.One 3oz bottle provides enough tint for one full gallon of sealer. When you use the entire bottle, you achieve a rich, deep, and dark color. Alternatively, add smaller amounts for softer effects. Start with just 1oz per gallon for a subtle tint. Then, increase to 2oz if you prefer more intensity. This adjustable approach gives you precise control over the final appearance.
How To Use
First, pour one gallon of sealer into a clean mixing bucket. Next, add your desired amount of Color Prime Tint. You can choose 1oz, 2oz, or the full 3oz bottle, depending on the depth you want. After that, stir the mixture thoroughly with a paint stir stick. Keep stirring until the sealer shows consistent color throughout.Now, apply the tinted base coat using a flat microfiber mop. Work in small sections at a time for best results. Then, rub the sealer into the concrete carefully. This step ensures the color spreads evenly and adheres well. Once you finish one area, move immediately to the next. Continue this process systematically across the whole floor.
Finally, check the overall look after the first coat dries. If you need more color depth, add Color Prime Tint to the second coat as well. Otherwise, apply additional coats of sealer normally.
