BSD Corner Tool Starter Kit from Boride Engineered Abrasives is a specialized diamond abrasive pad. It’s designed specifically for detailed work in hard-to-reach areas. This corner tool is great for blending and polishing the corners of concrete, terrazzo, and overlay floors. It works effectively on soft, medium, and hard concrete surfaces as well as terrazzo and overlay materials. This tool is intended for wet-only grinding to control dust, extend its life, and produce smoother results. Although, I’ve personally used it for dry grinding. Typically, on a low speed setting, and had good results without kicking up a bunch of dust.

It attaches via Velcro (hook-and-loop) mounting and is compatible with most multi-tools, including popular options like Makita and Dremel. Under typical conditions, it delivers an expected lifespan of 6-8 hours of use. Thus, depending on factors such as material hardness, applied pressure, and working environment. The tool is available in progressive grits of 30, 50, 100, 200, and 400. Therefore, allowing users to move from aggressive initial grinding and removal all the way through to finer polishing stages.
